Kerner, who famously urged men to wiggle their tongues in "She Comes First," is back with a guided tour of male sexuality, with an emphasis on the mind as well as the body. He's gotten rid of the poetic, cutesy language and gets to the facts, using biology to explain some of the perplexing male/female differences that trip couples up, such as:

• Why guys finish so quickly and fall asleep right afterward.
• Why they'd rather treat their wife as a lady than a wanton woman.
• Why they like to shake things up in bed.

Kerner also provides hands-on, explicit tips for making sex continually arousing. He brings his sex therapist credentials into play as he addresses common sexual concerns with compassion and straightforward advice.

The most useful section details successful real-life erotic adventures, including sex in a dressing room, recording lovemaking sessions, sex toys and playful exhibitionism.
Despite referring to male porn obsessions as "fast-food erotic fixes," Kerner emphasizes the positive: that men really want what women hunger for - a loving partner with whom they can build a hot, evolving sex life.
